PREVIEW: Pios Welcome Northern New Mexico Wednesday Night

Denver wraps-up pre-Christmas slate on Wednesday night inside Hamilton Gymnasium

DENVER  – The University of Denver men's basketball program will close out a back-to-back home games in a three-day span on Wednesday when the Pioneers welcome Northern New Mexico to Hamilton Gymnasium on Monday inside Hamilton Gymnasium. Tip on the Summit League Network and 104.3 The Fan HD3 is set for 7 p.m. MT.

SERIES HISTORY:
The two programs will meet for the first time on Wednesday.

DOUBLE DIGIT WORKLOAD:
Tommy Bruner
leads the Pioneers with 84 career games in double figures, including 14-straight contests spanning back to the end of last season. Touko Tainamo is the next closest Pioneer with 38 games in double figures, including in nine of the 12 games for Denver this season. Tainamo finished his second double-double of the season last time out against Adams State. 

100 GAMES PLAYED:
Both fifth-year guard Tommy Bruner and graduate student transfer Jaxon Brenchley have crossed the century mark in games played in their NCAA career this season.

LAST TIME OUT – BRUNER CAREER NIGHT:
Bruner had a career-high 37 points to lead the Pioneers pas Adams State on Monday night inside Hamilton Gymnasium. Denver connected on 37-of-43 free-throw attempts on Monday, tying for the fourth-most makes in a game in Denver's entire program history.

UP NEXT:
Denver will host Northern New Mexico on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on the Summit League Network and 104.3 the Fan HD3.
