PREVIEW: Denver Opens February Home Games with Western Illinois

Game set for 7 p.m. tip on Thursday

DENVER - The University of Denver men's basketball team begins February with a pair of home games. First up, a second meeting with Western Illinois on Thursday at 7 p.m. MT that can be seen on Altitude 2. 

About Denver
• The Pioneers average 73.3 points per game this year, fourth in the Summit League.
• Denver is allowing 76.4 points per game this season, 10th in the Summit League.
• DU shoots 49.1 percent from the field in 2022-23, first the Summit League and 10th in the NCAA.
• Denver is holding opponents to 45.5 percent shooting, seventh in the Summit League. 
• The Crimson and Gold rank first in the Summit League at getting to the line, attempting 24.1 free throws per game, 12th in the NCAA.
