Manning and Anderson Earn BIG EAST Weekly Awards

Noah Manning was named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week, while Dan Anderson was tabbed the Freshman of the Week

NEW YORK – University of Denver men's lacrosse sophomore attackman Noah Manning was named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week for the second-consecutive week, while freshman short stick defensive midfielder Dan Anderson was tabbed the BIG EAST Freshman of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
 
Manning netted a career-high four goals, including the game-winner, of Saturday's win over Merrimack on Saturday. He scored four goals on eight shots and picked up two ground balls at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium. Manning's four points also tied his career-high for the third time.
 
Anderson had a goal in transition and helped a Denver defense that held Merrimack to six goals in the opening three quarters of the Pioneers four-goal win over the Warriors on Saturday.
