Baptiste Goes 31-for-36 with 27 Ground Balls to Highlight PLL Week 3

COLUMBUS – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program had eight former players in action in PLL Week 3 in Columbus last weekend, highlighted by a record-setting day from four-time First Team All-American faceoff specialist Trevor Baptiste.
In a 19-18 Atlas loss, Baptiste went 31-of-36 from the faceoff stripe, picked up 27 ground balls and scored a goal. Eric Law had a hat trick and Danny Logan added a goal in transition in his hometown. Ethan Walker had a pair of tallies for the victorious Waterdogs.
Colin Squires had a two point goal to go with a CT and two GBs in the Whipsnakes win over Redwoods.
The PLL will take two weeks off for the FIL World Lacrosse Championships in San Diego before the league picks back up on July 8 in Minneapolis.

The PLL makes its return to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium August 11-12 with a pair of evening double headers. On Friday, August 11, Chaos will take on the Whipsnakes and the Chrome and Archers will clash at 6 p.m. MT and 8:30 p.m. MT, respectively. On Saturday, August 12, Atlas and Waterdogs will battle in a rematch of last year's game that ended in a Hannah overtime winner at Barton at 5 p.m. MT. Cannons and Redwoods will close out the Barton weekend at 7:30 p.m. MT on Saturday night. BUY TICKETS.
