Denver Men’s Lacrosse Puts Two Freshmen in IL Top-100 Rankings

DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program put two incoming student-athletes on the 2026 Inside Lacrosse Freshman Top-100, the publication announced on Wednesday.

Chase Smith is an incoming LSM from Toronto, and ranked 64^th in Wednesday's rookie rankings. The four-star recruit by Inside Lacrosse adds another lefty and big body to the Denver defense this season.

Noah Woodfolk is the 88^th ranked freshman in the August rankings. Coming to Denver from Charlottesville, the 2025 high school state champion was a two-time All-Central Virginia pick and adds to Denver's depth at close defense.
