#ProPios Update: Waterdogs Sweep Homecoming Weekend, Earn No. 1 Seed

DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program's #ProPios traveled to Philadelphia last weekend for Week 13 of the 2026 PLL season.

In the weekend opener, Jimmy Freehill had another two-point tally, picked up two ground balls and had a CT in the Waterdogs 11-9 win over New York. Alec Stathakis went 15-of-28 in an all-Pioneer dual against Trevor Baptiste. Former Pioneer SSDM Casey Wilson also scored for Philadelphia.

A day later, Stathakis turned in another 50% performance and scored a goal in the Waterdogs 18-10 win over Maryland. In the weekend finale, TD Ierlan went 17-of-28 with 8 ground balls in the Redwoods seven-goal win over Denver. The two teams will meet again in two weeks in the PLL Quarterfinals.
