DENVER – The University of Denver volleyball program has rostered former Purdue Fort Wayne middle blocker
Molly Mirabelli for the upcoming fall season, head coach
Megan Pendergast announced on Saturday.
Mirabelli made 24 starts in 27 matches a year ago, finishing first on the team in blocks, rejecting 72 attacks. The Michigan native recorded double digit kills in five matches in her junior campaign last fall. Mirabelli will have two seasons of eligibility remaining.

Played in 23 matches with 20 starts ... Reached double-figures with 11 kills against Robert Morris (Oct. 29) and 10 against Youngstown State (Oct. 30) ... Hit .583 (9-2-12) at UIC (Oct. 24), .611 (11-0-18) against Robert Morris (Oct. 29) and .333 (10-3-21) against Youngstown State (Oct. 30) in three consecutive matches ... Blocked a season-high eight attacks against Northern Kentucky (Nov. 6) in her last match of the season before falling to injury ... Recorded 78 blocks in her sophomore season.

Played in six contests in her freshman campaign ... Recorded a season-high 10 kills against Cleveland State (Feb. 23) with a .474 hitting percentage ... Blocked four Cleveland State attacks on February 22, which was a season-high ... Hit .303 on the season.

Four-time All-State selection ... Earned three First Team All-State distinctions ... Selected to four All-Conference and All-Region teams ... Earned a place in the 1,000-kill club ... Led St. Francis to the Michigan State quarterfinal in 2016 and semifinal in 2019 ... Played for FaROut 16's National Black club in 2017 and FaROut 18's National Black team in 2018 and 2019 ... Led the team to an AAU National Championship in 2017 and a third-place finish in 2018 ... Pitched for her softball team for two years ...
