DENVER – The [14/14] University of Denver men's soccer team will wrap-up its trip to the Pacific Northwest on Monday night when the Pioneers take on Seattle. Kick on ESPN+ is set for 8 p.m. MT.

Sam Bassett netted his first career brace and Isaac Nehme had a career-high seven saves, but it wasn't enough as 11th-ranked Portland beat Denver 4-2 on Friday night at Merlo Field.
The Series:
A pair of old MPSF rivals will meet on Monday night, a series Denver leads 4-0-1. The Pioneers have note allowed a goal to the Redhawks in the series, but the two teams drew 0-0 in their last meeting in Seattle in 2019. Denver has scored eight goals in the five matches and took 12 points from 12 in the four MPSF matches.
The Franks Foundation:
Jack and Sheila Weinberg Head Men's Soccer Coach Jamie Franks is 101-34-25 as a head coach at Denver, 136-51-33 in his 12 years overall with the Pioneers and 235-78-50 in his time as a player and a coach in college soccer. Franks became the second coach in program history to reach 100 career wins on Friday night, doing so in 158 career matches.

Since Franks took over at the start of the 2015 season, the Pioneers have 101 wins, sitting 10th in the country in that category heading into this weekend's matches. Of the 12 teams in the country that started the year with at least 95 wins, Denver has the sixth-fewest losses at 34. Monday marks a battle between the 9th (Seattle) and 10th (Denver) best teams in the country in total wins since the start of the 2015 season.
