DENVER - University of Denver Men's Golf head coach Gary Bissell and assistant coach Brett Meyer were named to the 2025-26 Golf Digest Best Young Teachers in America list.

The University of Denver is the only Division I program in the country to have both head coach and assistant coach make the list. 

Golf Digest works with coaches from coast to coast every two years to identify the next great generation of golf instructors. The inaugural list debuted in 2008, featuring just 20 instructors but has expanded with the most recent list honoring 191 instructors across the country under the age of 40.

Coach Bissell and the Pioneers are back in action on Oct. 6-8 at the Grier Jones Shocker Invitational in Wichita, Kansas.
