SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver women's basketball junior guard
Jordan Jones has been named to the 2024-25 Summit League Women's Basketball Preseason All-League First Team, the conference office announced on Tuesday ahead of the league's media day in Sioux Falls.
Jones was voted to the All-Summit League Second Team last season, averaging 14.8 points and 6.8 rebounds in 32.5 minutes per game a season ago. The 2022 Wyoming Gatorade Player of the Year posted new career highs of 29 points against Central Arkansas last November and a career-high 16 rebounds in the Pioneers league contest against Omaha. Jones finished in double figures in her final 10 games, including seven 20+ point performances in that stretch.
As a team, Denver was picked sixth in the Summit League Preseason Coaches' and Media Poll.
The Pioneers will open the regular season on November 4 against Colorado Christian in Hamilton Gymnasium. Opening tip on the Summit League Network is set for 6 p.m. MT.
