Woods Adds to Class of 2029

The Pioneers signed Tori Baker in the 2025 signing class.

DENVER – The University of Denver women's basketball program signed Tori Baker to join the Pioneers beginning in the 2025-26 season, coach Doshia Woods announced on Wednesday.

"I am thrilled to announce the signing of Tori Baker to our Pioneer Family," Woods said. "Tori has put in the work to earn this opportunity to compete for the Pios. A combo guard who will bring a competitive grit on both ends of the floor. Someone who is capable of scoring, great vision, and doesn't mind being physical defensively. Tori is someone who works tirelessly to achieve her goals. We are excited she will suit up to the Crimson and Gold. Our staff continues to be committed to keeping top talent at home, adding Tori to our roster helps us achieve that."

"I chose the University of Denver because of the people and the culture," Baker said. "When I was 10, I did my first ever Elite Camp at DU and I absolutely loved the atmosphere and the campus. I believe that DU is such a special place to be, and I also chose it because I wanted to be close to my friends and family since they're very important to me."

Caryn Jarocki, Club coach and DU WBB Alum on Baker:
"Tori is a very competitive player who can play both the shooting guard and point guard positions.  She thrives in close games.  Last season she led her team in scoring. In the classroom Victoria is a 4.0+ student and has been on the highest honor roll every semester so far. We look forward to be able to watch her play in the future at the university of Denver."
