DENVER – The University of Denver women's lacrosse program has signed eight athletes to join the Pioneers beginning in the 2025-26 season, coach Liza Kelly announced on Wednesday.
 
"We are so excited to welcome these athletes to the Pioneer Family," Kelly said. " They are tremendous additions to the roster and we can't wait to see these student athletes represent us not only on the field but in the classroom and community. We can't wait to see them play for Denver!"
 
Delaney Chernoff – Long Beach, New York – Long Beach High School – Midfield
BEFORE DENVER:
Two time All-Conference selection … Two time All-County selection … Heart and Hustle award winner in 2023 and 2024
PERSONAL:
Played club for Long Island Top Guns … Chose Denver because of the atmosphere and relationship with the coaches.
 
Chelsea Cho – Mercer Island, Washington – Mercer Island High School – Midfield/Draw Specialist
BEFORE DENVER:
Two-time USA All-American … led her team to two Washington state championships … Three-time all-state selection … three-time first-team all-conference selection … named rookie of the year her freshman year …voted MVP of her high school team … Team Korea women's national team member.
PERSONAL:
Enjoys hiking, baking and fashion … chose Denver because of the academic reputation and the positive culture that surrounds the coaches and team.

Member of the U20 Ireland Women's national team … Ranked #1 on Team Ireland in goals and points … has been named an All-District, All-Region and All-State selection in Virginia … Helped her team to a program-first Virginia State finals appearance in 2021 … American Select Team DC-Metro Select team member … American Select National Champion in 2022 … All-American Team DC member in 2024 … Rater Top MidAtlantic 2025 attacker with a 4.67 out of 5.00 by US Club Lax.
