DENVER – The University of Denver men's basketball program has signed center Oliver Wilson to join the program ahead of the 2025-26 season, head coach Jeff Wulbrun announced on Friday.
While calling Waikato, New Zealand, home, Wilson has attended Crestwood Prep in Toronto the last two years to complete his high school academic and athletic career. Wilson was also invited and attended a New Zealand National Team camp in 2023.
"Oliver is a very rugged and physical post player," Wulbrun said. "I love his tenacity, competitive spirit and his passion for embracing the physicality of the game whether he's posting up, setting a screen or rebounding. He is a student of the game and will continue to grow rapidly as a player because of his willingness to embrace coaching and incorporate suggestions and ideas into his game. He values the DU education and chases excellence on and off the court."
