Denver Puts Five on All-Summit League Academic Team

Jason Belloli, Dylan Akau, Ben Smith, Jake Smith and Aidan Semelsberger earned the academic honor on Wednesday

DENVER – The University of Denver men's soccer program placed five student-athletes on the 2024 All-Summit League Academic Team, the league office announced on Wednesday.

Jason Belloli won All-Summit League Academic honors for the third time in his career. Dylan Akau, Ben Smith and Jake Smith won the award for the second time in their careers. Aidan Semelsberger claimed the honor for the first time.

UP NEXT: Third-seeded Denver heads to Cary, North Carolina this weekend for the 2024 College Cup. The Pioneers take on Vermont on Friday in the first national semifinal from WakeMed Soccer Park at 5 p.m. ET/3 p.m. MT. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU and ESPN+.
