MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs opened up the final day of competition of the 2024 Minnesota Invite on Saturday morning inside the Jean K. Freeman Aquatic Center.
Dylan Wright and
Jessica Maeda earned NCAA B-Standards on Saturday morning in the 200 back and 200 breast, respectively.
In diving on Saturday,
Zyad Morsy earned his third and final zone cut on the three diving events, this one coming on platform with his 354.65 to take third on Saturday.
Colin Breuer cracked the men's top-10 on platform, taking third in DU history and fifth in the meet with a 280.65.
Nathan Cox rounded out Denver's men's divers on platform, finishing sixth in the meet and sixth in Denver's history on platform with a 222.55. On the women's side,
Kaitlin Calvery moved to second on Denver's all-time list with a 209.75.

Denver opened the final day of competition by qualifying three swimmers into the women's 200 back B-Final. Off her NCAA B-Cut last night,
Mina Ada Solaker qualified 12
th in 2:00.13.
Haley Chesno finished 14
th in 2:00.96 and
Darian Koler clocked in at 2:02.01.
Dylan Wright earned Denver's first Saturday spot in an A-Final in the 200 back on Saturday, turning in an NCAA B-Standard time of 1:44.01, more than four seconds faster than his seed time.
Denver's
Ines Marin punched a ticket into tonight's women's 100 free B-Final with a 50.28 to qualify 13
th. On the men's side in the 100,
Frank Tirone earned a spot in tonight's finals session, qualifying 15
th with a 44.54.
Jessica Maeda gave Denver a second NCAA B Standard on Saturday afternoon, clocking in at 2:12.50 in the women's 200 breast, earning a spot in tonight's A-Final after qualifying fourth.
Peyton Mullowney earned a B-Final spot, taking 11
th in 2:15.24.
Denver put two men in Saturday night's 200 Breast B-Final.
Marco Nosack qualified ninth in 1:58.34 and
Nico Morton finished 16
th in the prelims with a 2:00.22.
A trio of Pioneers earned spots in tonight's women's 200 breast B-Final.
Mia Moulden clocked in at 2:03.32,
Sabrina Rachjaibun swam it in 2:03.50 and
Mary O'Neil clocked in at 2:06.04.
Brandon Chapman and
Ian O'Neil were 10
th and 16
th in this morning's 200 breast qualification to punch Denver's final individual tickets into finals on Saturday.
