DENVER – University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving associate head coach
Mark Maguire completed IRONMAN, Canada last weekend in Penticton, British Columbia, not only earning a spot on the podium with his performance, but punching his ticket to Nice, France for the 2025 VinFast IRONMAN World Championships.
"There are a lot of people that share a piece of this accomplishment, and truly how special," Maguire said. "Sunday was a special moment in a one-of-a-kind environment. To podium at this event, let alone qualify for the World Championships, is nothing short of a realized dream from a much younger me."
Maguire finished third in the Men's 30-34 division, and 32
nd among men in the event overall.
