FIRST HALF:
9' | The first serious scoring chance of the day came on shots inside the box from redshirt freshman
Rowan LaPiano and S. Dreiling that were blocked by a defender and saved by the keeper, respectively.
24' | From down the left side of the pitch, Lund sent a ball perfectly through the penalty area and found Vincent in stride at the back post where the redshirt sophomore had the easy tap-in goal.
31' | Redshirt junior
Hannah Tate took a look from 20 yards back and placed it well toward the top of the net, forcing a leaping save from the UMKC keeper.
31' | On the subsequent corner, Chidiac passed the ball to junior
Alanna Raimondo at the edge of the 18-yard box. Raimondo served the ball toward the far post and found Thielbahr, but her header flew narrowly over the crossbar.
40' | Chidiac took a free kick from near the Kansas City bench and landed it inside the six-yard box. The ball bounced between G. Dreiling and Thielbahr before the redshirt freshman found the ball at her feet and pushed it into the back of the net.
SECOND HALF:
66' | From the top of the box, LaPiano found S. Dreiling to her right, who sent the ball right back the other way and along the edge of the six-yard back. Chidiac met it in stride, redirecting it past the keeper and into the top of the net.
83' | Denver thought it had a fourth goal on the night off the foot of Lund from near the penalty spot, but the goal was disallowed for offside.
