SIOUX FALLS, S.D. – University of Denver men's soccer redshirt freshman centerback Grant Lund has been named the Kwik Star Summit League Defensive Peak Performer of the Week, the conference office announced on Thursday.
Lund scored the game-winning goal in Denver's 2-0 victory over Oral Roberts on Saturday afternoon at the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. The centerback also led a backline that allowed just three shots on goal in 180 minutes en-route to Denver clinching the regular season title and the No. 1 seed in this week's tournament.
