Box Score WACO, Texas – The University of Denver women's tennis team finished up the H-E-B Invite, hosted by Baylor, with six total wins on Sunday.
Freshman
Ruby Hansen won the Pink Draw in singles with a straight-sets win, doing so after earning a doubles win in a tiebreaker earlier in the day with redshirt freshman
Remy Nguyen. Nguyen, too, played in a singles final match but came up short in the Yellow Draw.
Sophomore
Natalie Cinkova and senior
Hana Becirovic Novak ended the weekend with wins in both singles and doubles as well. Both won in two sets in singles before teaming up with seniors
Claudia Martinez de Velasco and
Zoe Adkins, respectively, to earn dominant doubles victories as well.
The University of Denver women's tennis team will finish its fall season when senior
Louise Wikander plays at the 2025 NCAA Division I Tennis Singles Championships in Orlando, Fla., on November 18-23. The team will resume play in January to begin the spring dual season. DU's schedule will be announced in the coming weeks.
