DENVER – The University of Denver gymnastics team will host its annual Crimson & Gold Intrasquad in Magness Arena on Sunday, December 21, at 1:45 p.m. MT.
Admission is free for all fans. Doors will open at 1 p.m. MT.
The event serves as the next step in Denver's preparation for the upcoming 2026 season. The team will compete on all four events and receive scores from a panel of judges.
Following the event, fans are invited to meet the team as part of an autograph signing session on the north concourse outside of sections 5-7.
Denver enters the season ranked No. 16 in the WCGA Preseason Coaches' Poll. The 2026 DU squad features seven returning student-athletes from last year's team that upset two higher-ranked teams at NCAA Regionals and nearly advanced to NCAA Nationals on its way to a No. 13 final national ranking.
Returning DU gymnasts include seniors and team captains
Mila Brusch,
Cecilia Cooley and
Kiley Rorich; juniors
Ashley Gallen,
Amanda Hargraves and
Maddison Reidenbach; and sophomore
Sophia Hampp. Brusch, Cooley, Rorich and Reidenbach enter the year as members of the 2026 Big 12 Conference Preseason Team.
Seven newcomers join the DU roster in 2026 including the No. 9 freshman class in the country in
Megan Aamold,
Shyla Bhatia,
Sevana Kasparian,
Kaitlynd Kastl,
Terra Rutter and
Abby Steeley. DU also adds sophomore transfer and Denver native
Addie Hewitt.
