MEET PROMOTIONS:
DU is hosting its now-annual Black Out Magness meet on Sunday. Fans are invited to wear black apparel to the meet, joining the Denver gymnasts who will be wearing one of their black leotards.

Denver will celebrate its four seniors as part of Senior Sunday. Following the end of competition, DU will hold a ceremony to honor
Mila Brusch,
Cecilia Cooley,
Ava Mabanta and
Kiley Rorich.

Sunday is also Denver's annual alumni reunion. More than 30 alumni are expected to be in attendance and will be recognized during a pre-meet ceremony. Fans are encouraged to be in their seats by 1:30 p.m.

LAST TIME OUT:
Denver wrapped up its Big 12 Conference road slate with a second-place finish at then-No. 23 BYU on February 20. The team matched its season high away score on floor (49.350) and its second highest road bars score (49.000) during the meet.

Cooley won the all-around title for a fifth consecutive meet and also tied atop the beam podium for the third meet in a row, sharing the win with junior
Maddison Reidenbach. Sophomore
Addie Hewitt slotted into the vault lineup for just the second time in her career and won a share of the title with a nearly stuck Yurchenko full.

EYE ON THE RANKINGS:
Denver sits at No. 21 in the second week of NQS rankings on Road to Nationals while also adding a No. 11 ranking on floor and No. 22 rankings on bars and beam. DU is just outside the top 25 on vault by only .003.

Cooley holds national rankings in the all-around and on floor for the second straight week, coming in tied for No. 16 on floor and No. 18 in the all-around. She is also just outside the beam rankings by the smallest possible margin of .005.

QUICK HITS:
- This will be the 25th all-time meeting between Denver and Utah, but it will be the first time that Utah has competed in Denver.
- With a win on Sunday, Denver will guarantee itself at least a share of the regular-season Big 12 Conference title.
- DU will celebrate its four seniors for Senior Sunday. Together, they have accounted for more than 200 routines competed, nine career highs of 9.900+ and 21 titles won.
- They were also members of the first 198+ scores in program history and DU's trip to the 2023 NCAA National Championships after winning Denver's second NCAA Regional title.
- All 14 of Denver's gymnasts have competed in at least one full lineup for DU this season, and each of them have made a collegiate debut on at least one event.
SCOUTING THE UTES:
Utah is coming off a non-conference win against Southern Utah at home on February 20, finishing with a 197.425. Four different Utah gymnasts combined to sweep the event titles with Avery Neff leading the way, winning in the all-around and on vault outright while also sharing the bars title with Ana Padarariu. Abbi Ryssman won on beam, and Makenna Smith won on floor.

Denver and Utah have meet 24 times previously, dating all the way back to their first meeting in 1977. They competed against each other four times in 2025 including three times on the Utah campus and ending with NCAA Regionals. In the 2025 NCAA Second Round, Denver and Utah tied for first with matching 197.650s to advance to the NCAA Regional Final, where Utah was first with a 197.825 and DU was third with a 197.350.

Denver is set for a two-meet weekend within the state of Colorado, first traveling to Air Force for a tri meet with San Jose State on Friday, March 6, before DU hosts Air Force for its final home meet of the year on Monday, March 9.
