MINNEAPOLIS – The University of Denver men's and women's swimming and diving programs closed out the 2025 Minnesota Invite on Saturday night at the Jean K Freeman Aquatic Center.

Nico Morton highlighted the evening session with his 1:58.29, finishing fifth in the 200 breast with the seventh-fastest time in program history.
Paige Reilly opened the Saturday night finals session with an eighth-place finish in the mile race with a 16:47.68.
Genevieve Franklin clocked in at 16:57.26 to finish 11
th.
Nika Spehar rounded out the top-15 finishers for the Pioneers with a time of 17:06.47.
On the men's side in the mile,
Joseph Hancock reached the final wall in a time of 15:10.96 to take seventh.
Finn Holdredge clocked in at 15:28.57 to take 12
th, just ahead of teammate
Max O'Neil who finished 13
th in a time of 15:50.76.
The finals sessions proper began with the 200 back.
Darian Koler dropped a half a second off her prelims time to take 11
th with a time of 1:59.21. Spehar came off the mile with a time of 2:03.00 to finish 16
th.
Denver had three swimmers in the B-Final on the men's side in the 200 back.
Quinn Collins also improved his prelims time by a half a second, clocking in at 1:46.79 to take 12
th.
Max Roslin took 14
th in 1:47.86 and
Kurt Owens grabbed 16
th in 1:51.55.
After recording the seventh-fastest time in program history in the 100 free on Saturday morning,
Hamish McLellan finished 15
th in the finals session with a time of 44.47.
Peyton Mullowney improved on her prelims time by 0.03 seconds and stayed in 11
th in the women's 200 breast. On the men's side, Morton led a trio of Pioneers that turned in impressive swims in the men's 200 breast finals. Morton improved on his prelims time by nearly a second, jumping up two spots with a 1:58.29 to take fifth in the A-Final.
Kito Campbell also improved on his time and placement, taking 10
th in 1:59.92, while
Cota Clise moved up two spots when he dropped over a second with a 2:00.37.
Sabrina Rachjaibun was the lone Denver swimmer in the women's 200 fly, taking 13
th with a time of 2:02.05. The men had three more swimmers in the B-Final.
Gabe Jones led the trio with a 1:48.69 to take 13
th.
Ian O'Neil finished 14
th with a 1:49.12 and his brother
Max O'Neil took 16
th in 1:52.34.
