DENVER – The University of Denver men's soccer program has signed Erik Collins to the 2025 roster, Jack and Sheila Weinberg Head Men's Soccer Coach Jamie Franks announced on Tuesday.
Erik Collins – 5-11 – 175 – Seattle, Washington – Freshman – Seattle Sounders Academy - Defender
Before Denver:
Scored 15 goals and had 7 assists for the Seattle Sounders Academy during his U-15 season as an attacking midfielder…Moved to fullback in his U-17 campaign, scoring twice and adding 11 assists…Has scored six goals and tallied eight assists in his U-18 season as of Feb., 2025.
Personal:
Chose the University of Denver because the brand of soccer seemed to fit his style of play, and once he visited, he was impressed and intrigued in joining the program…Wants to play professional soccer after he earns a degree to use after his retirement…Mother played college soccer at Washington State and sister is a 2025 graduate from Sturm Law.
