DENVER – Former University of Denver men's swimmer
Dylan Wright finished 21
st in a 33-swimmer field in the 200 back on Wednesday at the 2025 World University Games in Berlin, Germany.
Wright reached the final wall in 2:02.93, 1.76 seconds off the qualifying time for Wednesday's semifinals. The South African took 24
th in the 200 fly earlier in the meet.
The Cape Town, South Africa, native, ranked 99
th in the country in the 200 back in his final collegiate season, recording a 200 back time of 1:42.52 to earn an NCAA B Standard in the event. Wright was part of the 200 medley and 800 free relays that earned Summit League Championships, while individually winning the 200 back (1:42.52) and finishing third in the 100 back (47.95).
