#ProPios Update: Tierney’s Waterdogs Post 2-0 Weekend on Barton

DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse program's #ProPios homecoming week took place last weekend in Week 10 of the 2026 PLL season.

Following a lengthy lightning delay, and the opening game of the weekend, Alec Stathakis went 16-of-23 from the stripe, and Jimmy Freehill had an assist, a ground ball and a CT in the Waterdogs 11-10 win over New York.

In his 2026 return to PBLS, 2024 alum Richie Connell scored twice for Maryland in the middle game of three on Saturday.

Jack Hannah got in on the scoring in the nightcap Saturday, as the Waterdogs routed the Denver Outlaws 18-8. Hannah had a pair to go with three ground balls, Casey Wilson scored his first PLL goal and Freehill scored a two-pointer to go with two grounders. Stathakis went 13-for-25 with six grounders in the weekend finale.
