2023:
Played in all 15 contests at LSM, picking up 21 ground balls and forcing eight turnovers…Multiple ground balls in eight games, including four of the last six…Season-high two caused turnovers in Denver’s BIG EAST win at St. John’s.

2022:
Played in all 15 games at LSM, starting two…Assisted on a goal in Denver’s win over Marquette…Picked up 28 ground balls and forced 19 turnovers…Nine multi ground ball games, including a career-high six in Denver’s season-opening win at Utah…Multi-ground ball games in six-straight contests from Feb. 26-March 26…Multiple CTs in five, including three CTs in three of five games in February.

2021:
Played in 15 of Denver’s 17 games at its long stick midfield position…Scored three goals, picked up 14 ground balls and forced five turnovers…Scored in the BIG EAST Final against Georgetown and in the first round of the NCAA Tournament against Loyola…Picked up multiple ground balls in four games, including three of the final four…Forced three turnovers at Marquette on February 20.

2020:
Played and started at all six games in Denver’s defensive midfield, scoring his first career goal in Denver’s 15-13 setback to Duke…Picked up six ground balls and forced seven turnovers…Caused two multiple turnovers twice, in a win at Air Force and against Duke…Picked up a season-high four ground balls in Denver’s 10-6 win against Cleveland State.

BEFORE DENVER:
Played three seasons for Cherokee Trail, earning first team all-conference honors all three seasons, Second Team All-State in 2018 and Honorable Mention All-Colorado in 2019…Was named his team’s player of the year in the 2018 campaign…Played for the Gold Miners in the CCBLL in 2019.

PERSONAL:
Son to Malik Sr. and Rakaia...Has two siblings: Nadia and Kiana...Chose the University of Denver because it was close to home and has a good business program that he intends to major in…Also enjoys fishing, biking and spikeball.
