Albuquerque, N.M. - Junior Jason Tan (Amsterdam, Netherlands) advanced to quarterfinal action in the "B" flight after second-day action at the Balloon Festival in Albuquerque, N.M.

Sophomores Nejc Smole (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and Viktor Zetterholm (Stockholm, Sweden) advanced to the finals in the doubles "A" flight. Tan and West also advanced in the consolation doubles "B" flight. Sophomore Niko Popovic (Ljubljana, Slovenia) advanced to the semifinals in the "A" flight consolation, while sophomores Colin Day (Denver, Colo.), Steve Flaks (Colorado Springs, Colo.) and Zetterholm all advanced in consolation brackets.

Action continues all day tomorrow in Albuquerque.
