DENVER - The University of Denver women's lacrosse team completed the doubleheader sweep with a 21-0 over Regis this afternoon at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium DU improves to 13-2 on the season and 6-0 at home.

Eleven different Pioneers tallied goals and six different Pioneers recorded an assist against Regis. Sophomores kiley Murphy (Wilton, Conn.), Caroline Muldoon (Lafayette Hills, Pa.) and junior Liz Dierdorff (Annapolis, Md.) led DU with three goals apiece. Juniors Sarajane Goodfellow (Dallas, Texas), Jessica Lodders (Castle Rock, Colo.) and Murphy each had two assists for the Pioneers.

DU sprinted out to a 17-0 lead at the end of the first half. The Pioneers limited the Rangers to only three shots as DU recorded its second shutout in the program's history (DU defeated Regis, 22-0 on March 10, 2000).

DU now preps for a show down against No. 20 Stanford at Barton Stadium on Sat., April 15 at 1 p.m. DU who already won a share of the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation regular-season championship can win the title outright with a victory on Saturday.
