RIO DE JANIERO DU junior Jessica Lpez (Caracas, Venezuela) who became the first gymnast in school history to be a three-time All-American at the 2007 National Championships last April, represented her native country of Venezuela in the 2007 Pan American Games July 14 at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Lpez finished a respectable 20th in the women’s all-around with a score of 53.675. She finished seventh on bars with a score of 13.950, 22nd on balance beam with a score of 13.850, and 33rd on floor with a score of 12.75.

Lpez qualified to All Around finals and she is on the reserve list for the uneven bar finals.
