Women's Tennis Ranked No. 39

The University of Denver women’s tennis team moved up in the ITA Tennis rankings for the second consecutive week to the No. 39 spot.

 

Behind head coach Amy Jensen, the Pioneers boast a perfect 7-0 record this season, the best start in program history since turning Division I.

 

Mallory Voelker (Dousman, Wis.), Annette Aksdal (Oslo, Norway), Ute Schnoy (Altenstadt, Germany), and Julia Bauregger (Klugenfurt, Austria) all hold 7-0 singles records. Smole and Aksdal combine to lead the Pioneers in doubles with a 4-0 record.

 

Schnoy and Bauregger have both earned Sun Belt Conference Player of the Week honors in the past two week for their efforts.

 

DU hits the road for a pair of matches this Friday and Saturday against BYU (4-5) and Utah (5-3).
