Nov. 7, 2014 SAN DIEGO - All eight members of the Denver women's tennis team are set to play in the second San Diego State University Fall Classic. The tournament will begin on Friday, November 7 at 9 am and run through Sunday, November 9. Each day the teams will kick off with doubles play, with singles immediately following.
There will be a total of 11 schools in the tournament: Denver, Air Force, UC Irvine, Stanford, Missouri, Washington, UTEP, UC Santa Barbara, San Diego, San Diego State and Loyola Marymount. The field is double the size of the SDSU Fall Classic I, which was held on Sept. 26-28.
Admission to the SDSU Fall Classic II is free and fans are encouraged to park in PS5, which is located on the corner of 55th Street and Montezuma Road. On Friday, PS5 will close at 12 pm to incoming traffic due to the men's basketball game that evening. The parking structure will be open as usual for per-hour permits on Saturday and Sunday.
Results will be posted following the tournament on Sunday evening.
