DENVER - The [4/3] University of Denver men's soccer team moved up a spot to No. 4 in the National Soccer Coaches' Association of America Poll that was released on Tuesday.
Denver's new ranking is its highest in the coaches' poll in program history and is a spot behind its current Top Drawer Soccer and College Soccer News rankings, both of which are the highest in any poll in program history.
The Pioneers also moved up a spot to No. 4 in Tuesday's Soccer America Poll.
On Monday, sophomore Andre Shinyashiki (Sao Paulo, Brazil) was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week after scoring two game-winning goals last week in Denver's wins over [RV/-] New Mexico and Oral Roberts.
The Pioneers improved to 14-0-2 and 5-0-0 in the Summit League with their 33rdstraight regular season result on Saturday night.
A season after being the final unbeaten team in the country, Denver is one of two teams currently unbeaten in the NCAA with [1/1] Maryland sitting at 13-0-2 through Sunday.

Denver can clinch its fourth-consecutive Summit League regular season title with a win at Omaha on October 29. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. MT.
"This is what we want, to go to Omaha and play with the Summit League title on the line," head coach Jamie Franks said. "I know my guys will be ready to go on Saturday."
Denver will close out the regular season on November 3 against Portland at CIBER Field, before hosting the 2016 Summit League Men's Soccer Championships on the DU campus.
