DENVER - This University of Denver men's tennis team will travel to Tucson, Arizona this weekend to face the two different teams on Saturday and Sunday.

The 51st-ranked Pioneers are set to take on the University of Nevada on Saturday at 9:00 a.m. (MT), followed by a match against the University of Arizona on Sunday at 12:00 p.m. (MT).

"Both Nevada and Arizona will be a big challenge for us this weekend and we have to be ready," head coach Ricardo Rubio said. "We have been playing well up to this point but we have to continue to improve and play well in order to be successful."

Denver defeated Wichita State University 4-3 on Feb. 5 before beating BYU 4-3 the next day at Lifetime Fitness.

Sophomore Zach Fryer (Centennial, Colo.) was named Summit League Men's Tennis Player of the Week for his performance Feb. 2-8. He earned his first career Summit League Player of the Week award after teaming with Diogo Rocha to notch the doubles point clincher (7-6) and also won in three sets (7-6, 6-7, 6-4) at No. 5 singles to clinch DU's 4-3 victory over No. 67 Wichita State. Fryer collected a victory at No. 2 doubles (6-3) against BYU in Pioneers 4-3 victory and extended his doubles win streak to three for perfect season record. He also owns a 2-1 singles mark this season for the No. 51 Pioneers.
