March 16, 2016 SAN DIEGO INVITATIONAL BRACKET
DENVER - The University of Denver men's tennis team will travel to California this weekend to compete in the San Diego Invitational from March 17-19.
"We are looking forward to playing at this tournament in San Diego," head coach Ricardo Rubio said. "It is a very strong field and playing Tulane in the first round is a great opportunity for our team. Every match after that will be tough and we will find out a lot about our squad by the end of the week."
The 46th-ranked Pioneers are set to take on No. 28 Tulane on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. (MT) on the University of San Diego campus. The outcome of that match will determine who the team plays next in the tournament.
Denver is coming off back-to-back home wins after defeating the University of Utah 5-2 on Friday, March 4 followed by a 6-1 victory over the University of Pennsylvania on Sunday, March 6.
