Denver Ranked No. 47 on ITA Poll

DENVER -- The University of Denver Men's tennis team was again ranked in the Top-50 this week, coming in at No. 47 on the Division I Men's National Team Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings.

The Pioneers just wrapped up competition at the San Diego Invitational this past weekend in San Diego, Calif. DU went 1-2 in their three matches, falling to No.22 Tulane 4-3 on Thursday before beating the University of Harvard 4-3 on Friday. Denver finished the tournament with a 4-2 loss to No. 33 Memphis.

One set of teammates also earned spots on the Division I Men's National Doubles Oracle/ITA Collegiate Tennis Rankings. The duo of Henry Craig (Murietta, Calif.) and Alex Gasson (Alton, United Kingdom) came in at No. 46 in the doubles rankings.

Denver will travel to California again this weekend to take on California Polytechnic State University on Friday, March 25 at 12:00 p.m. MT followed by a match against UC Santa Barbara on Sunday at 11:00 a.m. MT.
