BIG EAST Tournament Tickets | 2016 Schedule

DENVER - The University of Denver men's lacrosse team has picked up a spot and moved to No. 2 in both the coaches and media polls that were released on Monday.

Denver is No. 4 in this week's NCAA Men's Lacrosse RPI.

Sophomore faceoff specialist Trevor Baptiste (Denville, N.J.) and junior attackman Connor Cannizzaro (Cazenovia, N.Y.) both earned spots on this afternoon's BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll. Baptiste went 20-for-25 from the X, and picked up a DU Division I record 20 ground balls. Cannizzaro netted five goals in the 17-10 Denver win.

Denver was also third in this morning's Nike/Lacrosse Magazine Top-20.

2016 BIG EAST CHAMPIONSHIP TICKETS: Tickets for the 2016 BIG EAST Championships presented by Jeep are on sale now and can be purchased here. The semifinals will be played at 4:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. MT on May 5, and the final will faceoff at 2:30 p.m. MT at Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium.

UP NEXT: Denver will play its final regular season away game of the 2016 campaign Saturday when the Pioneers travel to BIG EAST foe Providence. Faceoff is set for 10 a.m. MT, and the game can be seen live on Pioneer Vision and heard on 104.3 The Fan.
