April 28, 2016 Men's Tennis Championship Bracket
DENVER - The University of Denver men's tennis team will travel to Omaha, Neb. this weekend for the 2016 Summit League Men's Tennis Championship from April 29-30 at the Koch Family Tennis Center.
"We are excited about the conference tournament," head coach Ricardo Rubio said. "It is very important that we stay focused and pay attention to every detail in practice. We won the regular season but we also understand that everyone in the tournament will fight very hard and will give us their best shot. We are happy we are the number one seed and the guys have deserved to be seeded No. 1 in the tournament."
Denver holds the first overall seed in the tournament and will play the No. 4 seed Nebraska-Omaha on Friday, April 29 at 5:00 p.m. MT. The winner of that match will go on to face the winner of IUPUI/Oral Roberts for the championship match on Saturday, April 30.
The DU men's tennis team defeated Summit League opponent Nebraska-Omaha during the regular season on Jan. 31, defeating the host Mavericks 7-0.
