Kristen Hamilton - Forward - 2010-13

Quick Bio: Denver's all-time leader in points (138) and goals (51)...Only NCAA DI Athlete to be named player of the year in three different conferences...Ranks third at DU in all-time assists (36)...Started all 88 matches at forward.

Where are you now/What are you doing?:

I'm living in Denver half the year training and living in Buffalo, New York, half the year playing professional soccer for the Western New York Flash of the National Women's Soccer League.

Last time you touched a soccer ball/Where?:

Yesterday at training in New York.

When's the last time you were back on campus?:

Beginning of August 2016

Highlight/favorite soccer memory from your time at DU:

Making the Sweet 16. The game to get us there beating Maryland 3-2 in OT.

Favorite Jeff Hooker story/saying:

"We're not doing fitness, we're just working on our sprinting muscles."

Where do you see yourself in 10 years?:

Hopefully settled down in one city, a stable career and starting a family if I haven't started one by that point.

Biggest adjustment to life after graduation?:

I'm still living the soccer life so I would have to say just not having meals provided for me and just living on my own in a different state.

What advice do you have for the current Pioneers about life after college:

Enjoy it. Find something you love to do and pursue it. Find time for fun, don't bury yourself in work. Life is just starting!
