Will Palmquist (Denver, Colo.) has been named the Summit League Defensive Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday
Palmquist tied a career-high with seven saves in Denver's match at No. 9 Stanford on Friday night to bring his total in the two-match week to nine, stopping two shots in the Pioneers win over Saint Louis.
The award for Palmquist is his second of the season and of his career.

The Pioneers will close out the 2018 regular season Saturday when Denver welcomes Oral Roberts to the University of Denver Soccer Stadium. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. MT. The Pioneers will host the 2018 Summit League Men's Soccer Championship Nov. 8-10.
