May 31, 2018 DENVER -
The Denver Pioneers ranked 58th in the Oracle/Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women's Collegiate Tennis Final Rankings following the squad's fifth-consecutive Summit League title and fifth-straight appearance in the NCAA tournament.

The Pioneers finished the season 19-5 (6-0) and ended the regular season on a 14-match winning streak.
In doubles, Julia O'Loughlin and Bianca Mok ranked 40th in the nation after representing the Pioneers in the 2018 NCAA Doubles Championship where the duo took a set from No. 1 Paige Hourigan and Kenya Jones of Georgia Tech before falling 6-3, 3-6, 1-0 (10-7) in the first round.

O'Loughlin wrapped up her senior season with a 15-6 (4-0) mark in singles play, ranking 54th in the country and rising eight spots from her previous ranking on May 3. In the 2018 Singles Championship, O'Loughlin defeated then-No. 45 Anna Bright of the University of California, 7-6 (7-1), 6-2, to become the first Pioneer to advance to the Round of 32 since Ute Schnoy in 2010.

Student-Athlete Alumni Giving Challenge:
In 2017-18, the University of Denver is holding an alumni giving challenge in an effort to increase student-athlete alumni participation in the Denver Athletics Annual Fund. The sport program with the highest percentage of alumni participation will receive an additional $10,000 of support through the generosity of an anonymous donor.
