May 8, 2018 Tariq Hammond has signed a one-year contract with the Binghamton Devils of the American Hockey League (AHL), the Devils announced on Tuesday.
After signing an Amateur Tryout Offer (ATO) with the Devils on April 3, Hammond recorded one (1) assist in five (5) games. Hammond posted 26 points (6-20-26) in 125 collegiate games and six (6) points (1-5-6) in 31 games during the 2017-2018 season. The 6'1," 200-pound defenseman served as captain for the 2017-2018 season.
Hammond was the recipient of the 2016 Murray Armstrong Award, honoring Denver's most improved player. Prior to joining the Pioneers, the Calgary, Alberta native logged 70 points (18-52-70) in 156 games for the Okotoks Oilers of the Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL).
Binghamton is the AHL affiliate of the New Jersey Devils.

SEASON TICKET RENEWALS
Current hockey season ticket holders can renew their seats for the 2018-19 hockey season online or over the phone by calling the Denver ticket office at 303-871-4625. New season tickets for the 2018-19 hockey season went on sale Monday, March 19th.
