Round 1 set for Friday
DENVER – The University of Denver men's golf team hosts the Ron Moore Invitational Friday to Sunday at the par-71, 7,285 yard University of Denver Golf Club at Highlands Ranch.
The three-day tournament will tee off Friday beginning at 8:30 a.m. (MT), followed by rounds two and three on Saturday and Sunday.
Denver hosts the eight-team field that includes Colorado, Colgate, Idaho, Northern Colorado, North Dakota, North Dakota State, and Wyoming.
The Pioneers will be represented with two teams in the field. The first team will include Connor Jones, John Sand, Jun Ho Won, Esteban Missura, and Cal McCoy. Head coach Erik Billinger will go with Brady Arnett, Roy Kang, Jackson Solem, Carson Griggs, and Eric Hagen on the second team.
The Crimson and Gold look to bounce-back this week on its home course.
