• For a second straight game, the Pioneers had Ade Murkey (26) and Jase Townsend (23) score over 20-plus points in the contest.
• Murkey's 26 points were a season high to go along with six assists, also a season best.
• Townsend knocked down six 3s in the contest, becoming the first player in nearly a year to accomplish the feat in a game.
• Ray Kowalski chipped in with his best game so for this year, finishing with 10 points off the bench. 

About Denver
• The Pioneers are averaging 63.8 points per game in 2019-20.
• DU is shooting 43.5 percent from the field this year.
• Denver is holding teams to 29.4 percent from deep, first in the Summit League.
• The Crimson and Gold have been active in the passing lanes, ranking third in the Summit League in steals per game as a team with a 6.2 average.
• Denver has been good at getting to the line this season, ranking third in the Summit League in free throws attempted with 210.

• The Bears are 5-4 on the year.
• Northern Colorado is averaging 74.6 points per game, fifth in the Big Sky.

• The Bears are shooting 44.6 percent from the field, eighth in the Big Sky.

Murkey's December to Remember
• The senior has taken his game to another level in the month of December.
• In four games, Murkey has posted averages of 20.8 points, 4.3 rebounds, 2.7 assists, 1.5 steals and a 56.9 field-goal percentage.
• Murkey has recorded at least 15 points in all four games.

The Long Ranger
• DU has at least one 3-pointer in 416 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.

3-Ball, Corner Pocket
• Townsend has found his touch from outside this year, posting a career-best 39.4 3-point percentage.
• The sophomore's 2.2 made 3s per game rank fourth in the Summit League.
• In the month of December, the former Skyline standout his really dialed it up, making 3.7 3s per game on 57.7 percent shooting from deep.
