DU Ready for Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate

Round one set for Friday
PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – The University of Denver golf team heads west to California and warm weather to compete in the Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate. Round one is set to commence on Friday at the Classic Club.
Par for the 7,305-yard course is 72.
Head coach Erik Billinger is going with the lineup of Cal McCoy, Esteban Missura, John Sand, Carson Griggs and Jun Ho Won.
Jackson Solem, Eric Hagen and Roy Kang will also compete but as individuals.
The 21-team field is set to feature a talented list of teams from around the country, including Texas Tech, TCU, Colorado and Colorado State.
McCoy looks to build off a strong start at the Arizona Intercollegiate in which the freshman captured his first Summit League Men's Golfer of the Week award after shooting an even-par 213 at the event.
