DENVER – The University of Denver men's lacrosse team moved up a spot in the media poll and stayed put in the coaches' poll, and will enter its five-game road swing ranked eighth in the country in both polls as the Pioneers travel to [15/20] North Carolina on Saturday morning at 11 a.m. ET/9 a.m. MT.
This week's coaches' poll sees previous opponent Duke ranked sixth (L, 10-9), while future opponents Towson is seventh, Ohio State is ninth, Villanova moved up to 11
th, Notre Dame sits 12
th, North Carolina is 15
th and Georgetown is 20
th this week. Princeton and St. John's are receiving votes.
In this week's media poll, the Pioneers moved up a stop to eighth. Past opponent Duke moved to sixth, while future opponents Towson moved up to seventh, Ohio State went up to ninth, Villanova to 10
