Denver Closes Out Road Trip in Fargo

About Denver
The Pioneers are averaging 69.8 points per game in 2018-19.
• DU is shooting 44.3 percent from the field on the year.
• Denver is hitting 3s at a good rate, ranking fourth in the Summit League in 3-point percentage at 38.7, 23rd in the NCAA.
• The Crimson and Gold are knocking down 7.7 3s per game.
• The Pioneers are handing out 12.2 assists per game in 2018-19.
• Senior Ronnie Harrell Jr. leads the team in scoring at 13.5 points per game, 12th highest in the Summit League.

• The Bison are currently 12-12 on the season and 6-4 in Summit League play.
• North Dakota State is averaging 73.1 points per contest in 2018-19, fifth in the Summit League.
• NDSU gives up 73.0 points a night, which ranks fifth in the Summit League.
• The Bison are knocking down 45.4 percent of their shots this season, fifth in the Summit League.
• North Dakota State has been poor at holding teams to tough shots, as foes are shooting 46.7 percent against them this year, seventh in the Summit League.
• The Bison are averaging 11.8 assists per game, eighth in the Summit League.
• NDSU is making 9.0 3s a game in 2018-19, fourth most in the Summit League.
• Deng Geu is the team's leading scorer, averaging 12.1 points per game, 18th in the Summit League.
• Vinnie Shahid is second on the team in scoring at 11.8 points per contest.
 
Dallas-Fort Worth Stand Up
David Nzekwesi and Jase Townsend each turned in career days against South Dakota State on Feb. 3.
• The Dallas-Fort Worth natives combined for 38 points in the contest.
• Nzekwesi finished with a career-high 21 poins on a perfect 6-for-6 shooting.
• Townsend also had a career-best 17 points, which included knocking down three 3s in the contest.
 
Hey He Gets Buckets
• Rosga has been a force on the offensive end during his four years with the Pioneers.
• The senior has been making a climb of the program's all-time scoring list this year.
• Rosga currently ranks fifth with a career total of 1,568 points.
• The St. Paul native made it into the top five in a win against North Dakota State on Jan. 16.
• Rosga is only the third player in program history with at least 1,500 career points and 225 made 3s for his career, joining Brian Stafford and B.J. Pratt.
 
The Long Ranger
• DU has at least one 3-pointer in 398 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.
 
In Our Defense
• Denver has proven to be a tough out when they dial up the defense under Billups' watch.
• The Pioneers have a 35-11 (.760) record under Billups when allowing 78 or fewer points in a contest.
• DU has held six teams this season to under 65 points this year (5-1), a feat they did 11 times in 2017-18, posting a record of 10-1.

Denver men's basketball alumni weekend is set for 2019! The men's basketball Alumni Weekend tips off on Thursday night, February 28th as the Pioneers host Western Illinois at 7 p.m. On Friday, Alumni will take the floor at 5 p.m. followed our Senior Recognition Dinner at 7 p.m. with the finale to weekend – DU versus Omaha at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
