NEW YORK – University of Denver sophomore
Ted Sullivan (Tucson, Ariz.) has been named the BIG EAST Midfielder of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
Sullivan netted his second career hat trick and added an assist in the Pioneers 7-6 win over then-[7/8] Towson on Saturday afternoon. The Denver sophomore assisted on the game-tying goal with 4:38 left in regulation before scoring the game-winner with 1:13 to go.
On Monday morning, Denver moved up four spots to ninth in both the USILA Coaches' Poll and the Inside Lacrosse Media Poll. Denver also moved up three spots to seventh in the latest Lacrosse Magazine Poll.

Bill Tierney's return to the campus he coached at for 22 seasons. Denver will return to Peter Barton Lacrosse Stadium for its first home game in 34 days on Saturday when the Pioneers open BIG EAST play against Georgetown. Faceoff is set for 11:30 a.m. MT, and the game will be broadcast live on Altitude and ESPN Denver 1600.
