NEW YORK – University of Denver men's lacrosse senior
Austin French (Danville, Calif.) has been named the BIG EAST Attack Player of the Week, the conference office announced on Monday.
French had a goal and a career-high five assists in his season debut after missing the first four games of the season due to injury. All six goals that French was involved in either tied the game or gave Denver a one-goal lead in the Pioneers' victory at then-No. 15 North Carolina. French's six points also tied a career-high for the senior captain.
