DU Goes For Season Split Against ORU on Thursday

Game set for 7 p.m. MT on Altitude

Last Time Out
• Denver fell at Omaha 85-62 on Sunday.
• The Pioneers were led by Ade Murkey's game-high 28 points.
• It was the sixth time in the last seven games that the senior has recorded at least 24 points.
Robert Jones added 12 points and David Nzekwesi chipped in with 10 points.

About Denver
• The Pioneers are averaging 68.4 points per game in 2019-20.
• DU is shooting 44.3 percent from the field this year, sixth in the Summit League.
• Denver is holding teams to 32.4 percent from deep, second in the Summit League.
• The Crimson and Gold have been active in the passing lanes, ranking third in the Summit League in steals per game as a team with a 5.7 average.
• Denver has been good at getting to the line this season, ranking third in the Summit League in free throws attempted with 557, 54th in all of Division I.
• DU has been good this season at forcing teams into turnovers, ranking third in the Summit League with a 12.6 average.

• The Golden Eagles are knocking down 44.0 percent of their shots this season, seventh in the Summit League.
• Oral Roberts is holding teams to 44.8 percent shooting against them this year, fifth in the Summit League.
• The Golden Eagles are averaging 12.6 assists per game.
• ORU is making 7.9 3s a game in 2019-20.
• Emmanuel Nzekwesi is eighth in the Summit League in scoring, pouring in 16.6 points per contest.

And They Always Say Congratulations
• Murkey was recognized for his terrific effort this past weekend, being named Summit League Co-Player of the Week on Feb. 17.
• It was the first time in his collegiate career he has won the award.
• Murkey became the first player since Daniel Amigo won it back in January of 2017.
• Murkey posted averages of 35.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in two road games.

The Day That Was Ade's
• Murkey turned DU's greatest single-game performance on Feb. 14 at South Dakota State. 
• The Minneapolis, Minn. native scored a career-high 42 points to go with 11 rebounds against the Jackrabbits.
• The 42 points set Denver's new Division I single-game record for points in a game.
• Murkey became just the eighth player since 2011 in all of the NCAA to record at least 42 points and 11 rebounds in a road game, joining former Summit League player Mike Daum. 

The Dynamic Duo
• The combination of Townsend and Murkey have been a offensive force to witness this year for Denver.
• The duo is combining for 34.9 points per game, the second highest for a duo in the Summit League. 

The Long Ranger
• DU has at least one 3-pointer in 431 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.
