Last Time Out
• Denver won an essential "play-in" game against Western Illinois on Feb. 29, 69-63 in Hamilton Gymnasium.
• The Pioneers clinched the No. 8 seed in the Summit League Championships with the victory.
• Senior Ade Murkey dialed it up on Senior Day, finishing with a game-high 33 points and seven rebounds. 
• It was the second game this year the Minneapolis, Minn. native has scored at least 30 in a contest.

About Denver
• The Pioneers are averaging 68.9 points per game in 2019-20.
• DU is shooting 44.2 percent from the field this year, seventh in the Summit League.
• Denver is holding teams to 32.1 percent from deep, second in the Summit League.
• The Crimson and Gold have been active in the passing lanes, ranking third in the Summit League in steals per game as a team with a 5.9 average.
• Denver has been good at getting to the line this season, ranking third in the Summit League in free throws attempted with 620.
• DU has been good this season at forcing teams into turnovers, ranking third in the Summit League with a 12.9 average.
• Murkey ranks fourth in the Summit League in scoring, averaging 18.6 points per game in 2019-20.
• Murkey finished the as the league leader in scoring in league-games only this year, pouring in 22.1 points per contest.
• Murkey also finished fifth in rebounding in league-games only, ripping down 6.8 boards a night.
• Murkey has been good at getting into the passing lanes, ranking second in the Summit League in steals per game with a 1.2 average.
• Jase Townsend ranks eighth in the Summit League in scoring with an 16.8 average.

About North Dakota State
• The Bison are currently 22-8 on the season and 13-3 in Summit League play.
• North Dakota State is averaging 74.4 points per contest in 2019-20, fifth in the Summit League.
• NDSU gives up 66.4 points a night, which ranks first in the Summit League.
• The Bison are making 44.7 percent of their shots this season, sixth in the Summit League.
• North Dakota State has been holding teams to tough shots, as foes are shooting 43.7 percent against them this year, second in the Summit League.
• The Bison are averaging 12.0 assists per game, seventh in the Summit League.
• NDSU is making 9.1 3s a game in 2019-20, tops in the Summit League.
• Vinnie Shahid is the team's leading scorer, averaging 18.1 points per game, fourth in the Summit League.
• Tyson Ward is the team's leading rebounder, pulling down 7.1 boards a game, good for fourth.

League Him
• Murkey was recognized for his stellar play by the Summit League, being named All-Summit League Second Team in release by the league.
• This is the first time the senior has made an all-league team in his collegiate career.
• Murkey becomes the first Pioneer since teammates Joe Rosga and Daniel Amigo made first and second team back in 2018. 

Next Level
• Murkey has gotten hot at the right time of the year, posting incredible numbers in his last five contests.
• The senior is averaging 29.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 3.0 made 3s while shooting 51.0 percent from the field.
• He has also found his shooting touch from deep, knocking down 3s at a 57.7 percent (15-for-26) clip.
• Murkey has recorded at least 20 points each contest during the five-game stretch. 

Messed Around And Nearly Got A Triple-Double
• Townsend had his best game as a Pioneer on Feb. 20 in a win against Oral Roberts.
• The sophomore from Dallas finished with 24 points, 11 rebounds and nine assists. just missing out on the first triple-double performance in the program's Division I era (1998-pres.).
• The nine assists were a new career high.
• It was the second double-double of the year for Townsend.

And They Always Say Congratulations
• Murkey was recognized for his terrific effort this past weekend, being named Summit League Co-Player of the Week on Feb. 17.
• It was the first time in his collegiate career he has won the award.
• Murkey became the first player since Amigo won it back in January of 2017.
• Murkey posted averages of 35.0 points, 9.5 rebounds, 1.5 steals and 1.0 blocks in two road games.

The Dynamic Duo
• The combination of Townsend and Murkey have been a offensive force to witness this year for Denver.
• The duo is combining for 35.4 points per game, the highest for a duo in the Summit League. 

The Long Ranger
• DU has at least one 3-pointer in 434 straight games, dating back to Feb. 2, 2006.
